Actor Jesse Eisenberg to Speak at NJCU on November 4 Admission Is Free

Jersey City, N.J. – Jesse Eisenberg, actor, author and playwright, will be featured in a broadcast event sponsored by New Jersey City University (NJCU) and the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, 6:30 – 9:00 p.m., in Margaret Williams Theatre of Hepburn Hall on the NJCU main campus at 2039 Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City.
 
Mr. Eisenberg will speak and answer audience questions on the challenges and joys of a career in writing and film and the lessons he has learned throughout his career.  Admission is free.  To RSVP and print tickets for the event visit http://jesseeisenbergliveatnjcu.eventbrite.com.
 
Mr. Eisenberg played the role of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in the film, “The Social Network,” and starred in a number of movies for which he received critical acclaim, among them “Holy Rollers” and “Zombieland.”  He will play the role of Alexander “Lex” Luthor, Jr. in the film “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” which is due to be released in March 2016.     
 
He has written and starred in three plays for the New York stage: “Asuncion,” “The Revisionist,” and “The Spoils.”
 
In September 2015, his first book, Bream Gives Me Hiccups, a collection of short humor pieces was released. Mr. Eisenberg has contributed pieces to The New Yorker and McSweeney’s magazines
 
NJCU and NSLS will present actor, comedian, and screenwriter John Leguizamo on Tuesday, November 10, 2015.
