Al Roker, Host and Weather Anchor on NBC’s ‘TODAY’ Show, to Speak at NJCU on October 6; Public Welcome

Jersey City, N.J. – Al Roker, host and weather anchor on NBC’s “TODAY” show, will be featured in a broadcast event sponsored by New Jersey City University (NJCU) and the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, 6:30 – 9:00 p.m., in Margaret Williams Theatre of Hepburn Hall on the NJCU main campus at 2039 Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City.

Mr. Roker is an Emmy Award-winning journalist whose career has spanned more than 35 years and afforded him the opportunity to interview newsmakers and celebrities around the world. 
He is the author of numerous books including, “The Storm of the Century,” which is the true and inspirational story of leadership, heroism, and survival during America’s deadliest disaster.  Mr. Roker will discuss some of the stories which inspired him to write on the subject of leadership in very difficult times.
NJCU and NSLS will present actor, author, and playwright Jessie Eisenberg on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 and actor, comedian, and screenwriter John Leguizamo on Tuesday, November 10, 2015.
